CYP Events & Activities
Annual Meet the Members Event
This annual networking event is held each January. Current members are encouraged to invite non-members to join them for an evening of fun and networking. 

Networking Committee Events:
CYP Socials are informal gatherings at 7 pm a Thursday night at local bar or pub. Sometimes they involve a business tour.

Family Event: CYP co-sponsors a night at the ballpark for a Merchants Baseball game, CYP members get in free and there is fun for the entire family.
Civic Committee Events:
The Christmas Lighting Ceremony is held annually on the Friday after Thanksgiving at Depot Plaza. Everyone is invited to the lighting of the Depot Christmas tree and to welcome Santa & Mrs. Claus to Carroll. CYP and Christmas caroling for the event.

The Giving Tree – CYP members collect Christmas presents for children in need. On the second Sunday in December, members bring their gifts to the Giving Party. 

The Civic Committee also organizes CYP members to help with established events in the community like:
1. New Hope's Special Olympics
2. Relay for Life 
3. Chamber's Hoop it Up Youth Basketball Tournament

Professional Development Committee Events:

CYP hosts Lunch & Learn and Lunch with a Leader meetings from Noon-1pm at a local restaurant. Lunch & Learns feature guest speakers on topics of interest to young professionals.


Lunch with a Leader features success stories from entrepreneurs and veteran business leaders in  the community.


The State YP conference was held in Carroll in 2015.
