Employment Application
To simplify the process of application to Carroll County employers, all of those that are a part of the program will receive a copy of your employment application as a first point of contact. Applicants will be expected to go through the application process once contacted by the businesses. To fill out the application form, please click on the icon to the right.
Community Incentive Packages
Carroll Area Development Corporation has worked with several communities to put together incentives for military members who seek relocation to Carroll County. Below incentives are outline for the county as a whole, and additional offerings by community.
Carroll County
- One Common employment application form to be completed and submitted to the CADC office for forwarding to eligible and chosen employers.
- Complimentary one-year membership to the city of Carroll facility of your choice: Carroll Rec Center, Carroll Aquatic Center, or the Carroll Municipal Golf Course.
- Complimentary one-year membership to Carroll Young Professionals for anyone ages 21-45.
- HyVee gift card.
Glidden
- Family Membership to the Glidden Aquatic Center
- Veteran Membership to Glidden Wellness Center
- Down Payment Assistance for Home Purchase (Income Qualification Required)
- Housing Rehabilitation Assistance (Income Qualification Required)
- One Year Subscription to Glidden Graphic
- Gift Certificate to Glidden Grocery Cart
Manning
- Complimentary family membership for one year to the 24-hour access Recreation Center and indoor pool.
- Down payment assistance (if income qualified).
- Tax abatement for new housing construction.
- A 15% apartment discount for the first six months with the Manning Housing Agency.
- Ambassador services-we will pair the veteran with a VFW or Legion member to learn more about the community.
- A host for community visits to help with finding a job, childcare, etc.
- Up to four hours/month of free daycare at the Manning Child Care Center while the family looks for homes, interviews for jobs, etc.
Staff at Carroll Area Development Corporation and Carroll Chamber of Commerce will be assigned to veterans as they inquire about Carroll County to offer a personalized experience. Staff will serve as a personal concierge to help connect individuals with employers, schools, realtors and any other requested services.
We know that a relocation can be quite overwhelming, whether it be an individual or a family. Our team will do everything we can to make new families feel at home in your new community. Throughout the year, staff will host at least two social gatherings for those new to the community through the HBI program.
CADC expects the addition of both employers and community incentives as this program matures in Carroll County, so check the site regularly.
